Championing Inclusion and Diversity:
Learning for Life

Youth Unemployment is a prominent issue in our country, widening the disparity gap. We believe the most inclusive and diverse culture makes for a better business and a better world. One of the ways in which will do is by creating an inclusive and thriving hospitality sector that works for all.

Our Learning for life program matches high-potential individuals with vacancies within the industry and works to reduce the gap between people’s skills and the competencies required by employers. In wake of the current pandemic, this gap has widened even further with youth unemployment currently sitting on 46.3%.

We have identified 30 individuals across Gauteng and KZN, the majority of which are women. They are completing a National Certificate of in Wholesale and Retail Operations after which they will be placed in permanent positions!

We are proud to announce that to date, we have managed to place 75% of our Learning for Life graduates in permanent positions!

In the near future, we are looking towards training 80 individuals and of course, increasing our placement in permanent positions.
